Community Outreach

Every summer, our church family gathers to share the love of Christ throughout Christian County. We are thankful for every act of service and gospel conversation and trust that the Lord will use our efforts to make an eternal impact. In 2026 teams from Living Hope spread the Gospel around Hopkinsville, delivered cookies to our first responders and assisted Alpha Pregnancy Care Center with projects there. 

There are those among us who are going through periods of struggle or sickness and need Christian fellowship to get them through it. Since we are in the south, we know that is best achieved through food. Tammy’s Team is a group of volunteers who agree to take a meal to someone in need and spend a few moments visiting with them. This wonderful group has served two to three meals a week to four households over the last 18 months. Even though that number is huge, through the principle of many hands makes light work, it has only required our volunteers to deliver one to two meals per month. A true testament of our church’s desire to serve and meet the need of those around us.
The response from those who received is overwhelming. The connections formed, healing benefits of seeing people and laughing together, have all come together in a way that best represents the spirit of Tammy Boyd who the mission is named in memory of.

Living Hope Baptist Church financially supports Grace and Mercy, and Alpha Alternative, all of which are located in Hopkinsville, Ky. We also support Jake Davidson with New Beginnings Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Ky. Living Hope also financially supports Chase Sevick with Campus outreach at WKU.
