Darrell Crawford
Elder: Preaching and Vision
Darrell and his wife Angie were married in July of 1995. The Lord has blessed Pastor Darrell and Angie with two children: Austin and Grace. God called Darrell to be a pastor in November, 2005. He served as pastor of Lafayette Baptist church from 2006 – 2010, and then in July 2010, God led the Crawford’s to Living Hope Baptist Church.
Pastor Darrell’s goal is to live, serve, and preach in a way that would lead others to have a passion for Jesus Christ and His glorious Gospel.

Jacob Workman
Elder: Family Care
Jacob is a Hopkinsville native. The Lord called Jacob to Himself while he was studying at Murray State University. Since then, Jacob spent two and a half years living in Louisville studying at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he obtained his masters in biblical counseling. He has been married to his wife, Aerin since April 2022.
Pastor Jacob’s goal is to serve the people of Western Kentucky. He longs to strengthen the church through expository teaching. Jacob also loves to share the hope that he has in Jesus Christ with others who may not know Christ.

Thomas Hargadon
Elder: Youth Pastor
Thomas Hargadon has been the new Youth Pastor of Living Hope Baptist Church since May of 2026. He and his soon-to-be wife, Lizzie, plan to get married August 1st, 2026, and they are very excited to start their life together in Hoptown. The Lord called Thomas into ministry in 2020 when he was in college, and he has served in many different areas of ministry along the way.
Thomas's desire is to glorify God with everything he says and does. He intends to lead the student ministry at Living Hope through intentional discipleship of the students and parents of Living Hope. He will seek to accomplish this through expository preaching, discipleship meetings, evangelism and events with the hopes to share the Gospel with students and parents.

Tom Drake
Elder: Worship
Tom and his wife Barb have been married over 50 years. They have 3 married children and 5 grand-children. Tom has been in ministry for over 40 years and served in churches in Iowa, Texas, Maryland and Kentucky. He served as Worship/Education pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church from 1994 – 2017. Tom began serving at Living Hope August of 2017.
Tom loves leading a blended style of worship that both honors our Lord and edifies the body of believers. It is his desire to see our congregation sing with praise overflowing from a heart full of love and joy for our Savior.

Dr. Reed Shepherd
Elder: Pastoral Care and Senior Adults
Dr. Reed Shepherd has faithfully served Western Kentucky in ministry for many years. He has served in many capacities in churches ranging from senior pastor to interim pastor. He has been apart of Living Hope Baptist Church since 2020 and has served as our Discipleship and Education Interim since September 2024.

Kent Workman
Lay Elder: Pastor to Pastors
Kent has been married to his wife, Alice since 1963. Kent has been faithfully serving in ministry since 1977 and has served in many churches in Indiana and Kentucky. The bulk of his ministry has been in counties throughout Western Kentucky where he has served as Senior Pastor in different churches until his retirement where he served as the interim pastor to several churches. Kent has been acting as the Elder to Calvary Memorial since December or 2022.

Amber Willett
Children's Director
Amber has been serving at Living Hope Baptist Church since 2025. Amber and her husband, John, have been married since 2023 and moved to Hopkinsville in 2024. Amber's goal is teach the Gospel to children in our church and our community through the Scriptures.

Tammie Hargrove
Financial Secretary/Church Administrator
Tammie is a Hopkinsville native. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, James since 1988. She and her husband have two children together, J.T and Nick. Tammie and James have been members at Living Hope Baptist Church since 2022. Tammie is retired from Pennyrile electric and has been working as our administrative assistant and financial secretary since July of 2023.


Paula Yoakum
Pastor's Assistant
Paula Yoakum has lived in Hopkinsville for most of her life. She and her husband Eddie have been married since 1993. Paula’s mother and father, Paul and Bonnie Hester, were charter members of Living Hope Baptist.
Paula has a heart for missions and has been to Brazil multiple times and to Ecuador to help spread the gospel.
Her husband teaches a Sunday School class and the two of them have led a Community Group on Thursday nights since 2018 and still continue to do so.
She loves her church family and feels called to help serve in any way the Lord may lead.
