The congregation of Living Hope first met for Sunday School and Sunday Worship on September 4, 1994 in the Princess Theater in downtown Hopkinsville with a total of 68 in attendance. The next Sunday, it was decided by vote that a church would be started and continue to meet at the theater until a suitable building was found. 

Several weeks passed before Living Hope's first permanent home was found on North Main. It was a modest building, and eventually Living Hope outgrew it. The members decided that it was time to build a new building and purchased a lot next to the bypass, which was still being built at the time. Living Hope's Main Campus can still be found there at 6305 Eagle Way. 

In the years since Living Hope first came together in the Princess theater we have seen disciples being made, pastors being sent out, churches being planted in America and beyond, and the gospel being proclaimed all over the world. We pray we see more over the coming years because at Living Hope, our mission is the great commission.
